Day 1: Airport/Negombo (B/-/-)
Arrive at the Colombo International Airport. Our tour representative will meet you and transfer you to your hotel in Negombo.

Day 2: Negombo - Dambulla - Sigiriya (B/-/-)
After breakfast proceed to Sigiriya. En route, visit the Golden Cave Temple in Dambulla. Dambulla cave temple also known as the Golden Temple of Dambulla is a World Heritage Site (1991) in Sri Lanka, situated in the central part of the country. It is the largest and best-preserved cave temple complex in Sri Lanka. The rock towers 160 m over the surrounding plains. Major attractions are spread over five caves, which contain statues and paintings. These paintings and statues are related to Gautama Buddha and his life. After visiting the temple, you will continue your journey to Sigiriya. Overnight in Sigiriya.

Day 3: Sigiriya (B/-/-)
After breakfast visit the Sigiriya Lions Rock Fortress, a UNESCO site. Sigiriya or Sinhagiri is an ancient rock fortress located in the northern Matale District near the town of Dambulla in the central province, Sri Lanka. The name refers to a site of historical and archeological significance that is dominated by a massive column of rock nearly 200 metres (660 ft) high. After lunch, visit the Minneriya National Park for your wildlife safari. In 1938, Minneriya was declared a wildlife sanctuary. The park is a dry season feeding ground for the elephant population dwelling in forests of Matale, Polonnaruwa and Trincomalee districts. Overnight stay in Sigiriya.

Day 4: Sigiriya- Nuwara Eliya (B/-/-)
After breakfast transfer to N’ Eliya. Upon reaching N’ Eliya, you may spend the rest of the day at leisure.

Day 5: Nuwara Eliya - Ella (B/-/-)
After breakfast, proceed to Ella passing Devon Falls. Devon is a waterfall in Sri Lanka, situated 6 km west of Talawakele, Nuwara Eliya District on A7 highway. A beautiful natural formation standing at an altitude 1.140m above sea level, the falls is named after a pioneer English coffee planter called Devon, whose plantation is situated nearby the falls. After visiting Devon Falls, you will visit Lipton’s Seat.
Climbing Lipton’s Seat will be OPTIONAL: The point of Lipton’s Seat is reached by climbing for around 7km surrounded by peaceful green tea plantations and an occasional colorful tea plucker. There are two routes available; one from the Nayabedda estate in Bandarawela, and the second through the Dambatenna estate in Haputale. Both routes have entrances marked with sign boards and narrow paved roads. Some parts of the road even have some of the original stone constructions from the British era of Ceylon, and hence are worth seeing from a historical point of view. The climb takes about 2.5 hours. Arrive in Ella in the evening and spend the rest of the evening at leisure.

Day 6: Ella - Tangalle (B/-/-)
After breakfast, visit the sites in Ella including the famous Nine Arches Bridge. The Nine Arches Bridge is a bridge in Sri Lanka. It is one of the best examples of colonial-era railway construction in the country. The Bridge's architectural ingenuity and the profuse greenery in the nearby hillsides prove to be a fantastic site to behold. Ella town is filled with little cafe’s and restarurants. Taste fresh vegetables and fruit before you proceed to Down South Tangalla for your Beach expereince. After dinner visit the ‘Rekawa Turtle Sanctuary’. You would need to leave the hotel around 8 pm as Turtles come out quite late in the night. Admire beautiful sea turtles and take part in efforts to protect them at turtle conservation project Turtle Watch. Join a group of around 20 people and watch as the turtles lay eggs on the beach. The organization protects the turtles and provide them with a safe place for hatching, far from natural predators, on a beach that’s cleaned daily in order to provide adequate nesting grounds. Tours take place at night; you’ll be asked not to take photos or disturb the turtles in any way.

Day 7: Tangalle - Galle - Mirissa (B/-/-)
After breakfast transfer to Galle Dutch Fort for the day excursion
Galle Fort in the Bay of Galle on the southwest coast of Sri Lanka, was built first in 1588 by the Portuguese, then extensively fortified by the Dutch during the 17th century from 1649 onwards. It is a historical, archaeological and architectural heritage monument, which even after more than 423 years maintains a polished appearance, due to extensive reconstruction work done by Archaeological Department of Sri Lanka. The heritage value of the fort has been recognized by the UNESCO and the site has been inscribed as a cultural heritage UNESCO World Heritage Site under criteria iv, for its unique exposition of "an urban ensemble which illustrates the interaction of European architecture and South Asian traditions from the 16th to the 19th centuries.” Visit the Mirissa stretch in the evening where you find many Pubs, cafes and eating places.

Day 8: Mirissa - Colombo (B/-/-)
Today you will go an excursion to watch Whales – the best time to leave is at 6 am. You can request the hotel for a packed breakfast and have it on a boat while watching Whales and Dolphins. Whale watching is the practice of observing whales and dolphins (cetaceans) in their natural habitat. Whale watching is mostly a recreational activity (cf.birdwatching), but it can also serve scientific and/or educational purpose. After the excursion, you will then proceed to Colombo. On the way to Colombo, you will stop at Balapitiya to do a boat cruise on the Madu River. Enjoy a scenic cruise along the Madu River, a relaxing trip with plenty of interesting stops. You pass dozens of islets forested with mangroves and can appreciate the timeless natural rhythms of rural life. You cruise in canlopes, outboard motors powered boats, en route take in the view of a 200 year old temple and watch the local’s cultivations of coir manufacture and rope making. You can also see 46 species of birds reside in the area including 14 aquatic varieties. You will also spot huge water lilies and colourful butterflies. After the boat cruise, you will continue your journey to Colombo where you will check-in to your hotel. Spend the rest of the evening at leisure.
