Day 1: Arrive Athens

On arrival in Athens, check in to your hotel & freshen up.

Athens: Royal Olympic Hotel that is a family run five star property in the center of Athens. The hotel lays just in front of the famous Temple of Zeus and National Garden. We are underneath the Acropolis and only 2 minutes walk to the new Acropolis Museum.

Day 2: Full day Athens tour (B)

Enjoy the breakfast at the hotel and then start today’s tour. This tour gives you an opportunity to observe the striking contrasts that make Athens such a fascinating city. Our expert guide will take you to see the Panathenaic Stadium where the first Olympic Games of modern times were held in 1896 (short stop). Continue and pass by the Prime Minister's residence (ex Royal Palace) guarded by the Euzones in their colorful uniform, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian's Arch, the Parliament and the memorial to the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma).

On the Acropolis visit the Architectural Masterpieces of the Golden Age of Athens: The Propylaea, the Temple of Athena Nike, the Erechtheion and finally "the harmony between material and spirit", the monument that "puts order in the mind", the Parthenon. Continue and visit the place where at last the statues found their home and admire the wonders of the classical era: The new Acropolis museum.

Optional lunch at Plaka area and then walking tour of Plaka and the Monastiraki Flea Market.

Shopping in Athens is a favorite pastime for tourists and Athenians and one of the best places to buy just about anything is the Flea Market at Monastiraki.

After shopping, transfer back to Royal Olympic hotel.

Day 3: Drive to Argolis (1h40m) - Olympia(2h30m) (B)

Enjoy breakfast at the hotel and drive to Argolis (visit Mycenae & Epidaurus).

World Heritage–listed Mycenae Mycenae (Μυκήνες) is one of the most important archaeological sites of Greece. The fortified citadel is nested over the fertile plain of Argolis near the seashore in the northeast Peloponnese. Mycenae is the largest and most important center of the civilization that was named "Mycenaean" after this very citadel. Mycenaean is the culture that dominated mainland Greece, the Aegean islands, and the shores of Asia Minor during the late Bronze Age era (circa 1600-1100 BCE). The Mycenaean Era occupies the tail end of the Helladic Civilization, which flourished in mainland Greece since 3000 BCE. The theater of Epidaurus represents the finest and best-preserved example of a classical Greek theater. Even by today's standards, this monument stands out as a unique artistic achievement through its admirable integration into the landscape and above all the perfection of its proportions and incomparable acoustics

Day 4: Olympia -loannina (3h40m) (B)

Today we are going to visit Olympia archaeological site which was a major Panhellenic religious sanctuary of ancient Greece, where the ancient Olympic Games were held. Founded in the 8th century B.C. Its extensive ruins include athletic training areas, a stadium and temples dedicated to the gods Hera and Zeus. The Archaeological Museum of Olympia exhibits finds from the site, including a statue of Hermes attributed to the sculptor Praxiteles.

After that, we will be transferred to Ioannina. Ioannina, Located in the Νorthwestern part of the country, Ioannina sits in the center of a valley, amongst enormous mountains. The town was built on the famous Egnatia Odos, the road that connects Europe with Asia, one of the most ancient routes in history, spanning over 2000 years, once used by the Persians and ancient Greeks.

Day 5: Full day tour of Papingo village (B)

After breakfast proceed to Papingo village of the full day guided tour.

Papingo actually consists of two villages: Megalo Papingo and Mikro Papingo, big and small Papingo. The only access road for cars first takes you to Megalo Papingo and a kilometre further to Mikro Papingo. The area and the neighbouring Vikos Gorge attracts many hikers and mountaineers from around the world. The Vikos Gorge is the largest canyon in Greece and (disputably) in all of Europe: it has the greatest depth to width. The village of Papingo proper is surrounded by snow-capped mountains in winter, and also has provisions for lodging as well as tavernas serving up traditional Greek food, coffee, and spirits.

After the tour, transfer back to Grand Serai hotel for rest.

Day 6: loannina-Kalambaka (1h40m) (B)

Morning visit of Loannina town. Pamvotis lake, the most beautiful place in Ioannina. Take the small boat to the island and visit the byzantine castle.

The natural environment, the climate and character of the town are defined by this stretch of water – the area’s trademark. The lake, with its still waters and its small island, is a natural monument, around which the entire area lives and breathes. The strong cultural traditions of the town, home to a number of great novelists and poets, and the artistic and intellectual events which are organized throughout the year, give visitors the opportunity to get to know the roots of the intellectual life of Epirus.

After the tour, drive to Kalambaka. Overnight at Grand Meteora hotel

Surrounded by the Meteora monasteries and rock formations, this upscale hotel is 2 km from the Holy Monastery of Great Meteoron and 10 km from excavations in Theopetra Cave.

Day 7: Meteora (two monasteries)-Delphi (3h15m) (B)

A trip to Meteora offers the unique experience of nature’s grandeur in conjunction with history, architecture and man’s everlasting desire to connect with the Divine. It is a pilgrimage to a holy place for all Christians around the world. Meteora has become a preservation ark for the 2000-year-old Christian Orthodox creed.

After the tour of Meteora (2 Monasteries), drive back to Delphi.

Day 8: Delphi (site and Museum) -Athens (2h20m) (B)

Today our tour will visit Delphi (site and museum).

In ancient times, Delphi was considered the center of the known world, the place where heaven and earth met. This was the place on earth where man was closest to God. Delphi is known as the center of worship for the God Apollo, son of Zeus who embodied moral discipline and spiritual clarity.

After the tour, transfer back to Athens. Spend the rest of day at leisure.

Day 9: Athens -Santorini by flight (B)

Morning transfer to the airport.

Take domestic flight from Athens to Santorini 10:10-10:55.

Half day tour of Oia.

Oia is a coastal town on the northwestern tip of Santorini, a Greek Aegean island. The town has whitewashed houses carved into the rugged clifftops, and overlooks a vast caldera filled with water. Oia has several cultural attractions like the Maritime Museum which houses a small library, items from the maritime life of the area, and the vestiges of a Venetian fortress. After tour, transfer back to at Andronis Luxury Suites.

Day 10: full day tour of Santorini (B)

After breakfast, start a full tour on Santorini island. Firstly, we proceed to Profitis Ilias mountain: The highest peak of the island followed by Megalochori village follow by walking Tour at Megalochori, one of the most beautiful villages of the island. Typical traditional cycladic houses, neoclassic buildings and small cave houses blend together in harmony.

Day 11: Fira-Athens (B/farewell dinner)

Morning walking tour of Fira. Fira is the capital of Santorini, a Greek island in the Aegean Sea.

In the afternoon, take the high-speed ferry back to Athens. 12:30-17:40

Day 12: Athens-Singapore (B)

Check out hotel and transfer to the airport . Fly back home.
